Any vessel, ship, airplane, railway, trucker (Mexico/Canada). I.e., an international transporter wishing to gain entry to the United States must obtain a C3 International Carrier Bond and must file an AMS.

Bonder trucker/CFS warehouse/cartmen (i.e., not cleared by Customs, yet you're able to warehouse/transporter for importer/exporter/Customs/Agency/etc), must obtain a C2 Carrier bond.

It can be issued within 48 hours, but consignee Importer-id (i.e.; SSN or EIN) must be active/registered with US-Customs/Agencies, if not, it can take up to +10 working days.

If an anti-dumping (ADD) or countervailing duty (CVD) bond is required, you must notify us 10 days in advance. All ADD/CVD/etc. require deposits and notaries from the consignee and notary.

BMC-84 bond is for only domestic. Meaning, you're only able to transport the cargo AFTER Customs-Released has been issued by Customs-Broker/US-Customs/Agencies.

C-TPAT benefits can be faster entry filing and could reduce exams if an exam is moved to the front line as a priority (you can say, it's like TSA pass/Global Entry for your cargo).

FYI: Bond's are basically your initial creditability, integrity, sincerity, worthiness, etc. to all parties (ie; performance of obligation). Most of bonds are file with Filer-Code 9H4.

If you violate any of the terms, Customs/FMC/FMCSA//Surety/ADD/CVD/etc will terminate (at any time) with no notice/pro-ration/refunds/etc (ie; all paid services are fully earned).

All bonds can take up to 3 weeks depending on the complexity of the government agency, bonder, surety, and applicant's background, creditability, integrity, sincerity, worthiness, etc.

Basic Annual Premium Fees are listed here (with good credit); otherwise, they can be 7–25% of the bond amount. A bond is not optional, it's a must. Without a bond, there will be no permit or license.
